AmCham Nordic Event: AI Measures in US and EU: Preparing Businesses for New Requirements & Expectations

Event Description

AmCham Denmark, in partnership with SAS and our fellow Nordic AmChams, is pleased to invite members and invited guests to a virtual discussion on AI measures in the U.S. & EU with Reggie Townsend, Vice President at SAS and a member of the U.S. National AI Advisory Committee.

The end of 2023 brought a variety of governmental measures aimed at regulating AI. In the US, President Biden issued the Safe, Secure and Trustworthy Artificial Intelligence Executive Order, and the EU announced the upcoming Trustworthy AI Act.

During this webinar, we will take a high-level look at these initiatives; how they compare or differ – but also ask the question: What are some of the risks that can arise when AI models are built on flawed or biased data? And how can all of us be proactive in preventing harm before the first line of code is written?

Joining the discussion will be SAS’ Nordic Head of AI Josefin Rosén, an AI expert who was recently named one of the Tech50 most influential voices on AI in Sweden, who will bring a Nordic perspective to the conversation.

Don’t miss this insightful session where we look at AI’s risks and opportunities – along with how to prepare for the new government-led AI initiatives in the U.S. and EU.
