Business Implications of EU’s new Russia Sanctions

Webinar

AmCham Denmark, in partnership with AmCham Norway and Sanctions Advisory, invite members to a webinar exploring the business implications of the EU’s latest sanctions against Russia. With the 14th package released in late June, many companies remain unaware of the operational changes and challenges these sanctions impose.

The new risk assessment and control requirements apply to firms that are selling anywhere outside the EU across various industries including those dealing in electronics, machining and manufacturing equipmentnavigation equipment, optical devices, and all related parts and components at any point of the supply chain. And regulators will also be asking banks how they are complying.

This session will cover key topics such as:

  • Requirements and expectations of the risk assessment
  • Control requirements for high-priority items of Article 12gb (in place by December 26, 2024)
  • “Best effort” expectations of Article 8A
  • Secondary sanctions authorizations of Articles 5ab, 5ac, 5ad of Council Regulation 833/2014

Stay ahead of regulatory changes—don’t miss this opportunity to ensure compliance with the evolving sanctions framework.
