Global Infrastructure and U.S. Presidential Election
Event Description
AmCham Denmark, in partnership with I Squared Capital, invites members to a high-level panel discussion on the future of global infrastructure development.
The discussion will feature Sadek Wahba, Chairman and Managing Partner of I Squared Capital, alongside Anders Eldrup, former CEO of Ørsted and a leading voice in energy and infrastructure.
The panel will be moderated by Mette Walsted Vestergaard and will focus on key topics such as the upcoming U.S. presidential election, American politics, global infrastructure, sustainability, energy transition, and technological innovation in both the U.S. and Denmark.
Sadek Wahba will also share insights from his time on the President's National Infrastructure Advisory Council (NIAC) during the Biden administration, where he played a key role in shaping U.S. infrastructure policy. His expertise is highly relevant to current debates in Denmark on energy policy and investments.
This event will not only provide valuable perspectives on global infrastructure trends but will also mark the launch of a new book, “BUILD: Investing in America’s Infrastructure,” which argues for a greater role for the private sector, and public-private partnerships, in reviving American infrastructure.
During the panel discussion, a light buffet lunch will be served.
