2025 Leadership Mentoring Program Kickoff
Event Description
AmCham is pleased to invite program participants to the kickoff event of our 2025 Leadership Mentoring Program where we will announce the mentor / mentee pairings.
The event will feature a keynote by Harvard Law School Professor and Harvard Business Review Author Cass Sunstein where he will talk about his latest book: HOW TO BECOME FAMOUS: Lost Einsteins, Forgotten Superstars, and How the Beatles Came to Be, offering clear and surprising answers that business leaders, influencers, politicians, writers, and anyone who creates anything might want to consider.
Utilizing modern data analysis techniques, Sustein shows the role of accident and serendipity in producing the enduring fame we associate with names like William Shakespeare, Jane Austen, William Wordsworth, Muhammed Ali, and even Taylor Swift. He shows that it’s supremely hard to isolate individual conditions or events that lead directly to fame: history is full of sensationally talented people who never made it, however he explores some of the factors than can help.
During the event we will also announce the mentor / mentee pairings, as well as walk through the program detail and logistics. After that, you will be free to contact your partner, and start your mentoring journey together!
NOTE: This event is for mentoring program participants only
